Confession time: I've never read Harry Potter. Or seen the movies.
My parents were always really strict about what I read/watched and while I was
growing up, Harry Potter was one of those things I wasn't allowed to read,
I still don't know why. But, a couple weeks ago, someone gave me the
whole Harry Potter set, and I was allowed to keep them

Congratulations on the Harry Potter set! I haven't read the books in ages, but they're amazing. The movies are too. One day we shall sneak you over here and brainwash you with LoTR & HP. It's going to happen, even if it kills us. (which you know, is likely knowing us)

YAAAAAAY HARRY POTTER. I, too, have not read the books or seen the movies until recently, because when I was little I read the first book and found it infinitely horrible and totally boring (I was like 9, though, so you'll probably have a different experience.) But recently I have started watching the movies (to see what all this fussle is about), and DANG. They're super good. I've just finished the fourth, and I think I'll try reading the books after that. I hope you enjoy it :).

FINALLY! Ellie has seen the light! We tried to convince her to read the books a while ago and she would have none of it. FAITH IN ELLIE HAS BEEN RESTORED! The odd numbered books are the best, no case you two were wondering. The 5th book is my favirite because Fred and George are up to some epic shenanigans. OR! You could listen to all of them on audio book. Read by Jim Dale. 'Tis fabulous!
DeleteMy dad read them all out loud to me and my brother. Even though we are getting older, Stories remains a bedtime ritual. (We started when I was 8 and I was super scared of Voldemort).

PREPARE TO JOIN THE INCREDIBLENESS THAT IS HARRY POTTER! And "incredibleness" is officially a word now, cause I said so. My favorite book by far was the fourth one. My least favorite was the fifth one, cause Harry is kind of a brat. I hate bratty children, although I can't stay mad at Harry for very long. He'd have to kill Hermione or something like that to make me hate him. (He doesn't kill Hermione by the way.)

Can I please adopt Princess Monster Truck? Please? Or that puppy? Please? Even though I'm slightly allergic to both of them. And Princess Monster Truck would probably eat the cat I have now. And my dog, cause my dog is kind of a wimp. I still love him anyway.
