• Making cookies by the fire
• The cheesiest pick up lines that ever graced the earth that we couldn't help but laugh at 
• All those winters sitting by the fire with hot chocolate surrounded by lights and feeling safe

A Concept;

so for a while there was a thing going around on Tumblr (I think its still a thing?? who knows?? I'm an actual grandma and don't know how to keep up with things, so for the sake of this post I'll say its still a thing) and I decided to jump on the bandwagon 600 years later and write future concepts for the people in my life. I guess this is less of a 'concept' post and more of a 'hopes for the future' post, but oh well. Enjoy I guess?

a concept; you are loved. you are safe and feel loved and you finally are living your dreams. the rest of the world finally sees you for the beautiful, bright soul you are and you do too. You finally get to do all the things you wanted to, see all the places you wanted to see, and meet all your idols and jthe people who inspired you even in your darkest times and thank them for everything. we finally got to go on that road trip that we planned and then some. all your hard work has finally paid off and you've finally realized how important you are and have a successful career. You get to keep on inspiring people while living your dream life with all you ever wanted and more. Everything's better than you ever could've hoped for. 

a concept; we've finally met. in real life. we've met and we've been together for just a few months now, but we still adore each other after all this time and we've got our own apartment now. we get to do all those movie marathons we planned and we wake up every morning to waffles and hot chocolate with our dog curled up in the living room. I get to show you all the things I wanted to, and maybe everything didn't turn out the way we planned, but you're here. you're here with me and the world is brighter now that you are and I love you so.

a concept; you're a writer. you get to keep going with your masterpieces and you have several of your works published and you get to see the impact you make on a much larger scale. your words heal the hearts of people around the world and not only do you get to inspire others to do the same, but you inspire others to keep going when they thought they were ready to fall.

a concept;  you've graduated from Stanford at the top of your class like you always dreamed you would. you're still working on your dream to become the president of the united states, but in the meantime you're changing the world for the better with your ideas and you get to dream even bigger dreams along the way.

a concept; the world is brighter. there are more people chasing their passions and there are more ideas changing the world every day. people are still falling in love and learning to love themselves too. old doubts and insecurities are gradually replaced by seeds of hope and we're all okay. broken hearts are mended and all the things we lost are being rebuilt from the ground up. the world is getting better and we're all okay.

Things You Shouldn't Let the Internet Convince You

1.) That having a mental illness is a good thing or ~cute~
3.) That being a minority or feeling like you're struggling with an issue alone makes you any less of a person
4.) That you can’t be cool without being a narcissistic jerk
5.) That making fun of people/their situations is an acceptable form of humor
6.) That hating everyone around you is an okay mentality
7.) That your problems don’t matter
8.) That having apathy and not caring for anything at all is ~cool~
9.) That hating men is okay
10.) That hating women is okay
11.) That hating children is okay
12.) That hating anyone is okay, like literally what, stop hating things that is a toxic way to live, my friend
13.) That you can’t make a point or state your opinion without being a jerk
14.) That attacking people just because they have a different opinion is okay
15.) That your grades don’t matter
16.) That what you do doesn’t matter
17.) That the world is a terrible place
18.) That life isn’t worth living
19.) That making fun of someone for getting excited about something they like is okay
20.) That your self-worth is depicted based on the number of followers or likes you have
21.) But also, that getting excited when you do gain a lot of followers or views or likes or whatever makes you a selfish, self-absorbed person
22.) That liking things that are popular makes you a “basic”, boring person
23.) That liking things that aren’t popular is a bad thing
24.) That not liking things that other people like makes you a bad person
25.) That putting other people down for liking things is a good thing
26.) That putting people down in general for something that isn’t hurting anyone in anyway, is okay
27.) That not “reposting for ___” is a bad thing/makes you a ""heartless person"" I mean why?? ? ? ?
28.) That you have to be a certain way for people to like you

I could go on forever with this, but the main thing is just don’t let the internet make you feel bad for who you are, and don’t let it convince you that hurting other people is okay. The internet is full of opinions, and it is all up to you to decide what you want to do with your life. Don’t let some idiot on a keyboard convince you that any of this is okay. As someone who’s been on Tumblr for about 3 years now, and has made many other social media accounts and has seen plenty of this in that time period, I’ve formed many opinions of my own based on what other people say online.

Liking things shouldn't be all that serious, don't be rude to other people online and offline, share ideas, make things, help others, take care of yourself, y'know just be a good soup, and share some of that soup. I know I sound like one of those stupid cheesy "STAY SAFE ON THE INTERWEBS!!!1!" videos that they show in school, but really, I feel like some people do need the reminder. Everything is fine. Everything is so fine, and everything is going to be okay, just don't be a piece of poo, and that is all I have to say.

Alrighty, I know I haven't 1.) replied to comments 2.) made a post since the apocalypse

3.) been very active much on other social media things besides tumblr 4.) commented much

on other posts but that's going to have to wait a little while longer.

I was going to wait a little while later to post this, or maybe even wait until I was gone to say

anything, but I decided if I put this off any longer I won't end up getting anything done so here goes.

I'm going to be gone for a little over a week, starting this Wednesday/Thursday. I'll be back either on or a little after the first of August to check up on everything, but in the meantime, I'll have all my notifications off on all my social media stuff so I'm not spammed when I get back, so if you mentioned me in something or sent me a message, please don't be mad at me for not responding in forever. xD I'm not going to have any phone service or internet while I'm gone.

I'm actually going to be travelling, and we're flying over the ocean, which is going to scare the crap out of me considering I'm already scared enough of travelling over land. I do love being in airplanes and flying, but it's just every single time I've been on a plane, I always end up on the ones that fly through storms and stuff, so please be nice to me ocean. xD
